Behind Schedule. No Doubt About It.

I’m behind schedule. No doubt about it. I weighed 180 last week, right after a lazy football weekend, and I should be under 170.

The increase was expected: the summer-to-fall turn, cold rainy weekends with no golf, sitting inside eating bad and watching football. The way back on is already running — the final three weeks of this Ramp are Ultimate Portion Fix Plan A carb cycling, and I did my first #mbf workout this morning. The plan had been 9 Week Control Freak, but when I got to North Myrtle Beach yesterday I saw the setup here wouldn’t work for it, and there was no panic, because I’d already run the if-then and knew #mbf would fill the place. That’s a guardrail doing its job.

The scale stays put until October 26. The motivation is knowing I measured that 180 at a high — and getting to see how far it drops when I step back on.

“Starting the next Ramp higher” heading into the 26th means this: land around 170 and I start the 2027 Ramp almost 15 pounds lower than I started this one, my handicap more than two full strokes lower, two books published this year and a third on pace for Ramp Day 1, with guardrails positioned better because I know exactly what worked and what didn’t. Across every front, I’m starting higher. Falls included.
