The Salad Didn’t Happen. The Grocery Run Did.

Yesterday’s entry ended with a plan: get the broccoli so there are vegetables for dinner going forward. Honest report on how that went: the salad did not happen.

The grocery run did. I ran to the store and bought broccoli to steam — so I don’t have to make salads — and picked up everything else I need for the foundational days. The overnight oats. The frozen blueberries. The baby carrots. And now the broccoli. Dinner itself? I skipped the yogurt, the evening Shakeology, and the salad, and had some pre-made chicken tenders from the store.

Did I technically not follow the schedule? Yes. But my calories stayed in line, and everything I need to finish the week exactly to plan is now in the condo. I’m not deterred. I knew after driving eight hours down here Sunday that the condo wouldn’t get fully stocked right away. Now I’m good to go.

This morning was Upper Body Burn — day three of #mbf in the condo gym. It went great, but the biggest thing I thought about today is how great it is to switch programs. All the programs are good workouts, but they’re different moves that hit the body differently. I’ve worked out every day for eight weeks, and after two days of #mbf my legs are still sore, because it hits different. My chest got worked hard this morning too, and I can already tell I’ll feel it for a few days. Rotating through different programs keeps the body from complacency — and keeps it consistently building.

One more honest note. Entry #2 went live last night, and my first posts went up on X and Instagram yesterday. The reaction so far? Nothing yet. That’s what starting from zero looks like — we’re building an audience, and building an audience takes time. It works like everything else on the Ramp: consistency compounds, and you earn the momentum before you see it.

The schedule on paper and the week in real life won’t always match. What matters is that the calories stayed in line and the fridge is finally full. Day three is in the books.
