The Weekend Between

The final weekend of my 2026 Ramp. I didn’t do any work. I still worked out and played golf. That’s why there’s one entry for the whole weekend.

I finished the final lifting workout of #mbf, Power Ignite, on Saturday and then on Sunday finished with Dynamic Recovery. Power Ignite once again left me feeling powerful and Dynamic Recovery stretched me out and got me ready for the 2027 Ramp start.

On Sunday we played Prestwick Country Club and it was windy. That course is hard enough to begin with and the wind made it really difficult. I’m almost ashamed to say this but I didn’t make a par until hole 15. But the swing is coming back. The tough part was adjusting to the fast greens at Prestwick after the slow greens the day before at MBN West.

I deliberately did no work all weekend. It was sort of a celebratory finish of the 2026 Ramp and start of the 2027 Ramp. And on Sunday, even though I knew it would cause my weight to be higher than I wanted to start the 2027 Ramp, I didn’t eat my normal nutrition plan. I didn’t eat bad or binge. I ate differently to enjoy the transition phase.

Here’s my workbook page for the 2027 Ramp, as written.

My Headline: My evenings become excitement and energy to move from the work day to training for golf and reading finance books.

My 3 too-easy actions:

  1. The full speed take it to the course Tathata routine (short, quick, and can be done when the full longer workouts are not in the cards).
  2. Read just 5 pages of a finance book.
  3. Go for a 15 minute walk outside.

Sunday night I laid out my Slimpal tape measure to focus myself on doing the measurements for accurate tracking and to get my mind on the beginning of the 2027 Ramp.

First weigh-in goes on the board tomorrow.

The 2026 Ramp is in the books.
