Too-Easy on Purpose

Boxing with 3’s and 4’s (hooks). Just building the punches and combinations slowly and bringing in footwork. No numbers for today.

Each lifting day, I’m looking for 1-2 exercises to push for heavier weights than last time through the program. On the boxing days, it’s just about keeping my heart rate up and creating balance by doing this round with my off hand.

My legs feel fine so far but usually the soreness kicks in a day or two later. But I could feel soreness in my arms and shoulders from the Day 1 boxing. Once again, the change in programs keeps your body doing different moves that works you differently.

Yesterday, I got outside in some sun in the early evening. The evening sun goes away this weekend with the clock change so I took advantage of yesterday to do some walking outside.

And for everybody walking their own Ramp, here’s the thing. You’re not making wholesale changes week 1 or even month 1. You wrote down minimal actions for a reason. They were made too-easy on purpose. Just start on them and before you know it they are done.

Day three is in the books.
